Honors & Scholars Ambassadors are here to assist incoming first-year and transfer students throughout their first year at the University of Northern Iowa by providing a community of peers and dedicated leaders committed to their academic and social success.
Program Goals

To welcome and acquaint first-year students with the University Honors Program and what it has to offer.

To assist with transition and retention efforts through providing engaging opportunities and events over the course of the fall semester.

To make strong connections between members of the group and to establish role models around whom the students will feel comfortable.

To provide an opportunity for discussion, mentoring and questions about college life.
