First-Year Seminars

Create a community of learners.

New scholarship recipients participate in scholars-only seminars during their first two semesters at UNI. Seminars are designed to challenge first-year scholars academically while also giving them an unique opportunity to establish themselves as a community of learners.

The two credit seminars count toward the honors designation and are applied as electives toward university graduation requirements.
