Career Goal: Work for a corporate company on their marketing or advertising teams with branding and media/promotional work and then transition into helping multiple nonprofits with marketing as well as running their organizations as a long term career.

How has HSP participation enhanced your college experience at UNI? It has helped me so much to connect with opportunities to help guide me in where I would want to go after college as well as networking with different employers from the Bright Symposium, an event that takes place each spring. The program is also so supportive in how a student is doing on a personal level rather than just academic, so getting to know the people in charge of the program and other students is just a great way to have a support system in helping a student grow throughout college. There is also just a different atmosphere when it comes to the program that is welcoming and you meet so many other students from other majors that are in the same program as you.

How has your HSP experience prepared you for life after UNI? It has made me feel more prepared and confident in the path that I want to take after UNI. The program also prepares me for networking and wants to connect me with employers or any other people that might have connections in a future career that aligns with what my future goals are. The program has also been helping me so much to achieve my goals and even suggesting different organizations and clubs that I could join to better equip me for my future job outside of UNI.
