Graduate Assistant

Ava (she/her) believes that the Honors Program at UNI is truly something special. Ava was a Presidential Scholar at UNI throughout her undergraduate career, and those experiences are a large reason why she wanted to stay involved as a graduate student. Experiences such as the close-knit camaraderie of the Honors department and the range of opportunities it provides—from engaging events to unique research endeavors—fuel Ava’s passion for helping students find the same sense of belonging she has felt within the Honors and Scholars Programs.

As a student herself, Ava understands the trials and tribulations college can present to even the most dedicated and high-achieving students. Ava wants to provide guidance throughout students’ collegiate journeys. The current students of the Honors and Scholars Programs are the future, and Ava wants to help foster their growth and support their success.
